I thought it would be fun to start a page for sharing recipes for busy moms like me. If you want to share a recipe, that would be great. I know I am always looking for shortcuts and healthy meals for my family as well as healthy snacks too.

Here’s the first one:

Best Banana Bread

Yummy Banana Bread!

10 Servings 1 Loaf

1 1/4 Hours 8 min prep

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 bananas, finely crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and crushed bananas.
  3. Combine well.
  4. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.
  5. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
  7. Keeps well, refrigerated.

Here’s another one that is easy and healthy too. My kids call it “orange pudding.”

Orange Dream Salad

  • 2 pkg. sugar free vanilla cook and serve pudding
  • 1 pkg. orange sugar fee jello
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 2-11oz. mandarin oranges in light syrup
  • 1-12oz. cool whip
  1. Mix dry pudding and jello.
  2. Add water and mix well.
  3. Cook and stir until it begins to thicken.
  4. Cool. Fold in fruit and whipped topping.
